SYSCOM’s client is seeking an Azure API Management Specialist to work on our client’s replacement effort to build an MS Azure database back-end and API integrations with legacy systems. The Azure API Management Specialist will streamline API management processes within a to-be-established Azure ecosystem. Their responsibilities include implementing API management solutions, configuring API gateways, establishing API policies for security and performance optimization, and monitoring API usage to ensure efficient operation and identify potential areas for improvement.
Job Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Design Azure APIs to pull/push data from and to client’s existing digital products to the Azure replacement portal
Implement Azure APIs for the client’s replacement solution
Set up Azure API Management processes and policies for security, performance optimization and monitoring API usage
Configure API gateways
Perform performance testing and propose continuous improvement
Provide knowledge transfer
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years’ experience on Azure API management
Experience with designing API systems and management processes
Experience with implementing API management solutions
Experience with establishing API policies for security, performance optimization and monitoring API usage
Experience with integrating with legacy systems
